Resend

Resend is the active delivery path for @repo/mail. sendEmail always calls sendViaResend in packages/mail/src/send-email.ts.

Setup

1. Create an account at resend.com and copy an API key.
2. Verify the domain (or use Resend’s onboarding address for local tests).
3. Set env vars in the root .env:

RESEND_KEY="re_…"
RESEND_EMAIL_DOMAIN="[email protected]" # or your verified from address

packages/mail/src/resend.ts builds the client from RESEND_KEY. The default from on each send is RESEND_EMAIL_DOMAIN unless you pass from to sendEmail.

Sending

Use sendEmail with a React Email template as described in the Mail overview. Auth already sends magic-link and OTP mails through Resend when this key is set.
